Liability Insurance Complete

You can take out the Complete Package if your trip has an educational background.

The Complete Package differs from the Standard Package in the scope of liability insurance. The Complete Package offers students or Erasmus Plus participants particularly good protection. It includes, among other things, higher benefits in the event of damage occurring during internships which are part of university studies or an Erasmus Plus program.

If you take out the supplementary Complete Package, a full personal liability insurance policy is integrated for the insured person. In addition to personal injury and property damage, damage to rented property is also insured. Damage to rented property is damage caused to a rented flat/apartment.
Insurance cover within the policy is only provided if the insured person has no other or sufficient insurance cover (subsidiary cover).

Au pairs are covered by liability insurance in their role as private individuals and within their specific work as an au pair.

Damages caused by the use of a motor vehicle are not insured. This includes both personal injury and damage to property.

Lump sum for personal injury, property damage and financial loss	up to €5,000,000
Damages occurring during internships, which are part of university studies or an Erasmus Plus program
Damages occurring during internships, which are not part of university studies or an Erasmus Plus program	up to €10,000* with a deductible of €100
Volunteering
Damage to the host family's property
Damage to rented property	up to €1,000,000*
Occasional minding of a third party’s dog, where this is done as a favor
Occasional use of motor-assisted boats belonging to third parties with an engine power of up to 55 kW (75 HP)
Use of motor vehicles with a maximum design speed of 6 km/h (e.g. invalid cars, children’s cars)
Use of trailers, provided they are not subject to compulsory insurance coverage and are not attached to a motor vehicle
Use of self-propelled machinery with a maximum design speed of 20 km/h (e.g. lawn mowers, snow-clearing equipment)
Use of motor vehicles and trailers not subject to compulsory insurance coverage when on non-public ways or areas
Bail payment in the case of loss or damage occurring in a foreign country	up to €25,000*
Loss of private and business keys belonging to third parties	up to €30,000*
Damage to property arising from an act of favor	up to €10,000*
Bad debt losses
Damage arising from data exchange and use of the Internet	up to €1,000,000*
Limit of indemnity in the case of violation of naming or personality rights	up to €200,000*

*Sublimit within the basic sum insured

No insurance cover is provided for damages:

intentionally caused by the insured person

caused by the insured person as a result of an intentional criminal act or the intentional attempt of committing a criminal act

Liability Insurance Complete does not cover:

Damages to leased, rented or borrowed equipment

Damage caused by the use of a motor vehicle is not insured. This includes both personal injury and damage to property
